Smartphones have changed social interaction and communication by changing how individuals communicate with one another. There are several impediments to this paradigm change, particularly in terms of posture. The increased usage of cellphones has altered how we communicate, work, and have fun. However, concerns have been raised about the impact of cellphones on human health, particularly on neck posture and mobility, as a result of their constant and occasionally improper use. This study examines existing studies on the influence of smartphone use on neck posture and mobility in depth. The review contains studies from a wide range of domains, including ergonomics and healthcare, with a focus on methodologies, findings, and consequences for both researchers and the general community.
