Currently, the forest biogeocenoses of the Moscow urban agglomeration are subject to the complex effects of external factors: climate change and anthropogenic impact, including an increase in uncontrolled recreational load. The purpose of the research is to study the dynamics of the species composition and taxation indicators of pine stands on the example of urban ecosystems of the Moscow city agglomeration. Study objects were the Scots pine stands in eight permanent observation plots. Pine stands were located in the Moscow region in the territory of the Forest Experimental Station and the Moscow Educational and Experimental Forestry. The average increase in stock in Forest Experimental Station was 3.7 m3/ha per year, in Moscow Educational and Experimental Forestry pine stands are much younger and the average increase in stock was 6.2 m3/ha per year, which is a good indicator for ripe tree stands in the conditions of the Moscow region. It was found that at the age of 65 years of complex pine forests, Tilia cordata Mill. is introduced in the second tier. During the study period, an increase in the proportion of Pinus sylvestris L. was observed in pine stands of the IV – V age class of Moscow Educational and Experimental Forestry as part of the stands. Complex pine forests in forest growing conditions C2 and C3 are able to form highly productive and durable stands in the Moscow region.
