R is a programming language used basically for the statistical analysis purposes. It is majorly used in predicting the geometric sequences, in optimizing the portfolios, analyzing the graphical results and their interpretation. It uses the functions with its formal and actual parameters to perform any concept of event. It was invented and hence implemented by Robert Gentleman and Ross Ihaka. The most significant purpose of R is that it can turn ideas into programs and hence software quickly and easily. The computations are made simple and effective, and that makes R to be different from all the other programming languages. It can be both function oriented and object oriented. All kind real time applications can be traced out. One other important feature is that R is portable, that is, it can work on any platforms and have no restrictions on that. There is no platform difficulty and it’s an interpreted language.
