Based on the results of the PISA study, Indonesia is a country with low mathematical literacy skills. Mathematical literacy is defined as the ability to formulate, use, and interpret mathematics in everyday life. This research aims to describe students' numeracy skills in solving AKM questions on number content. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this research were students in grade 8th of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and tests. After the data was collected, qualitative data reduction and analysis were carried out by paying attention to indicators of students' mathematical literacy abilities. The research results show that students' numeracy literacy skills are in a good category. Conceptually, students are able to understand problems and have the ability to solve AKM-based problems that involve thinking and reasoning abilities. However, the problem that arises is that students have difficulty writing these concepts.
