Many ethnomathematical studies examine the existence of mathematical concepts, one of which is the concept of geometry in Indonesian cultural products, one of which is temples. However, there has been no previous research that examines the existence of the concept of geometry in Sambisari Temple. Therefore, this study explores the concept of geometry in Sambisari Temple. The object of this research is the concept of geometry in Sambisari Temple. the subject of the study was Sambisari Temple. Quality data type with data collection, observation, interviews, and documentation. Data is analyzed based on mathematical geometry concepts and then triangulated data sources by geometrists. This research uses an ethnographic approach by answering four main questions, namely "where do I start looking?", "how do I find it?", "how do I recognize that it has found something significant?", "how to understand what it is?". By answering these four questions, the author succeeded in studying the concept of geometry contained in Sambisari Temple. From the concepts of geometry explored and confirmed by geometry experts, there are several subconcepts found are (1) subconcepts of plane geometry such as triangles, trapezoids, rectangles, squares, and circles, (2) subconcepts of spatial geometry such as cubes, beams, and cylinders, and (3) subconcepts of geometric transformations such as translation, dilation, and reflection. Hopefully this article can be used to promote Sambisari Temple through mathematics learning at elementary, middle, and high school levels through contextual learning.
