Many ethnomathematical studies examine the existence of mathematical concepts, one of which is the concept of geometry in Indonesian cultural products, where Batik is one of them. However, previous research has yet to examine the existence of geometric concepts in Batik Kopi Pecah. Therefore, this study explores the concept of geometry in Batik Kopi Pecah. This research uses an ethnographic approach by answering four main questions, namely "Where do I start looking?", "How do I find it?" "How do I recognize that it has found something significant?" "How to understand what it is?" By answering these four questions, the author succeeded in studying the concept of geometry in Batik Kopi Pecah. Data is collected in several ways: observation, interviews, and documentation. From the ideas of geometry explored and confirmed by geometry experts, there are several concepts found: (1) concepts of plane geometry such as isosceles triangles, right triangles, rectangles, squares, rhombuses, and circles, (2) concepts of geometric transformations such as translation, rotation, reflection, and axis of symmetry (3) concepts of similarity and congruence. Hopefully, this article can be used to promote Batik Kopi Pecah through mathematics learning at elementary, middle, and high school levels through contextual education.
