Several studies in ethnomathematics have explored mathematical concepts in various Indonesian cultural products, including batik. However, there has been no research on mathematical concepts in Batik Sidomukti. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the presence of mathematical concepts in Batik Sidomukti, such as algebra, geometry, arithmetic, and statistics. The researcher used ethnography as an approach, answering four main questions: "Where do I start looking?", "how do I find it?", "how do I know that I have found something significant?", and "How do I understand what it is?". By answering these questions, the researcher found mathematical concepts in Batik Sidomukti. Of the four concepts studied, only geometry concepts were found including 1) subconcepts of geometry transformation such as translation and reflection, 2) plane geometry such as rhombus, rectangle, triangle, circle, ellipse, and curved line, and 3) congruence and perpendicularity. The findings of this study can help promote Batik Sidomukti to primary and secondary school students through contextual and meaningful mathematics learning. In addition, this article also explains how to use the context of Batik Sidomukti in mathematics education introduction.
