STEAM and local wisdom are two terms coined for learning science through its application. STEAM exposes students to the application of science in modern technology, while local wisdom has a specific interest in the role of the cultural context in the application. Despite the similar interest, The integration between STEAM and local wisdom are not well discussed in previous studies. Based on this background, this article was written to thematically map the connectedness of STEAM and local wisdom for further research. The method used is systematic and explicit bibliometric analysis. The tools used are Publish or Perish, Mendeley, and VOSviewer. The analytical objects involved are titles and abstracts of 723 scientific articles in the last five years and filtered through tools. The results of mapping and analysis showed a connection between STEAM and local wisdom objects containing scientific laws with little value. However, there is no relationship between STEAM and local wisdom values that can be used to form the attitudes and character of students.
