This research is motivated by the importance of optimizing the instructional leadership of principals by strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. The aim of this research is to describe the instructional leadership of principals by strengthening the profile of Pancasila students in terms of faith and noble character, independence, mutual cooperation, global diversity, critical reasoning and creativity. The population of this study was 787 junior high school principals with civil servant status. Sampling was carried out using stratified proportional random sampling technique. The sample size was 73 people. The instrument used to collect data in this research was the Likert scale model. Data is processed using mean and percentage formulas. The research results show that the principal’s instructional leadership by strengthening the Pancasila student profile is in the sufficient category with an average of 3.0 at a percentage of 60%. The principals need to develop instructional leadership in the areas of faith and noble character, independence, mutual cooperation, global diversity, critical reasoning and creativity. The principal as a learning leader. This leadership has never been developed by the principal in detail. Therefore, leadership emphasis for all these indicators needs to be continuously increased.
