Tasbaya Junior High School (SMP) is a school located in Sawahan District, Surabaya City, East Java Province, which has an A accreditation but the land owned is very narrow, especially green open spaces. In addition, the Covid19 pandemic has greatly impacted the comfort of teaching and learning activities. At this time face-to-face meetings have been implemented but students still have to comply with health protocols by wearing masks. So that masks are also a problem for the waste of masks to afflict Tasbaya Junior High School. because it is caused by the lack of skills and knowledge in the use of mask waste, so students and teachers of Tasbaya Junior High School are required to be creative and innovate to process a large amount of mask waste. Meanwhile, for domestic waste management activities, both sorting and collecting waste, it is very embedded and cultured as well as commitment in terms of managing the environment. The purpose of this activity is to use used masks into modified and applicable flower pots to become a supporting place for storing plants that have selling value. In the implementation of this activity, several stages are carried out, namely planning, preparation, implementation (training, product manufacture and application use). The planning stage is an explanation of the various flower pot designs according to the location of the sun. The preparation stage is the socialization of the benefits of flower pots. The implementation stage is conducting training on making flower pots from masks. The mask waste goes through a chemical and physical sterilization process before use and changes its shape. Next is the activity evaluation stage. From the results of this activity, Tasbaya Junior High School Petemon, Sawahan District, Surabaya City was able to overcome and control the problem of mask waste and was able to add to the aesthetic value of the environment by adding greenery in the school environment.
