Background: The involuntary leakage of urine affects a social and hygienic problematic issue known as urine incontinency. More than 200 million people worldwide suffer from urinary incontinence, as well as women’s life expectancies rise, the number is going to rise. The aim of this study is to express how urine incontinency affects social aspects. Methods: a purposive study to define the effects of urinary incontinence on social aspects at Babylon City. 200 menopausal women with urinary incontinence who care for their patients were chosen in this study from Babylon Surgical Hospital. A questionnaire was created with this study’s objectives. Results: the mean age with standard deviation were 52.39±2.65 years, and the majority of sample was married, housewives and obese Also, 50% nonsmokers and illiterates, the majority of the study sample had normal vaginal births, 50% of them they had (1-3) abortions, 50% of them had a parity of (5-8), a history of curettage, urinary tract infection, chronic cough, chronic constipation, or risk factors for uterine or vaginal wall prolapse. The study found significant relationship among social factors and age (years), social status, educational level, occupation, parity, number of abortions, and curettages. Conclusions: menopausal women who have incontinence have a negative effect on their social life and constantly concerned about the availability and the place of bathrooms wherever they go.
