Mathematics can train students’ higher order thinking skills in solving problems. Abstract mathematical objects often make students have difficulty when learning mathematics. For mathematics learning to be meaningful, mathematical objects need to be visualized. This study aims to describe the various benefits of GeoGebra in learning mathematics. GeoGebra (short for Geometry and Algebra) is a dynamic, free and multi-platform math software. Based on the results of the study, several benefits of GeoGebra in learning mathematics were obtained, namely (1) as a visualization and demonstration medium, (2) as a construction aid, (3) as mathematical exploration and discovery, (4) as a software builder of teaching materials, and (5) to solve or verify mathematical problems.
