The article discusses the issues of assessing the economic efficiency of one of the main directions of the development of modern technologies based on unification and being its logical conclusion – aggregation. The evaluation of the economic efficiency of the use of aggregate equipment at machine-building enterprises is carried out by a comparative method. The methodology for evaluating the efficiency of using aggregate equipment takes into account the costs before and after aggregation. The main efficiency is created in the field of operation of aggregate equipment. The sources of economic efficiency in aggregation are reducing the complexity of manufacturing products, creating conditions for increasing the annual volume of production by the same forces and on the same areas. The use of aggregate equipment allows to reduce the consumption of materials per unit of production, creates conditions for reducing the costs of its operation and repair.
