Network technologies play a special role in railway transport, since they provide an uninterrupted exchange of information in sections of various distances. The introduction of modern information and control technologies based on the telecommunications environment leads to an increase in the quality of the management of the transportation process. Due to the peculiarities of the operation of network equipment, there is a need to analyze the functions performed by the telecommunication equipment of the railway infrastructure and their direct participation in the operational process.
