The development of technology in this modern era is developing rapidly which has an increasing effect on the need for the use of technology in all fields, including in the field of hair styling or barbershop. There are many barbershops in Medan. This will certainly make it difficult for customers to choose the right barbershop for them based on their criteria. To make it easier for customers to choose the right barbershop, in this study a barbershop selection system was built using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method and Mapbox API based on customer criteria input. The criteria used in this study include facilities, prices, distance, number of employees, and services. The study also applied the process of distance search from one point of origin to the destination point by using the Mapbox API. If the user’s choice criteria are balanced found in barbershop alternative data, the system accuracy value will be large and if the user’s choice criteria balanced criteria and have no similarity to the alternative barbershop criteria data, the accuracy value will be low and the running time value will tend to be higher.
