Improvements in aircraft from year to year continue to be carried out in order to obtain better efficiency values and can be used. One of the parameters that can be used to determine whether or not the aerodynamic efficiency of the aircraft is the comparison between the lift coefficient and the drag coefficient. The TBM 700 aircraft is one of the trainer aircraft still in use. The TBM 700 aircraft is an aircraft that uses a NACA 4415 airfoil, where this aircraft has problems with turbulence in the wing of the aircraft. For this reason, the author wants to make improvements to the wing by adding winglets of the forward wingtip fence type to see the characteristics of the coefficient lift and coefficient drag values on the wing using CFD numerical analysis with variations in the angle of attack of 2.5°, 5°, 7.5°, 10°, and 12.5°. so that based on the results of the CFD simulation, the characteristics of the comparison of the lift coefficient and coefficient drag (cl / cd) values between the winglets without winglets and the wings with the addition of wingtip fence winglets have better values at angles of attack 5 °, 7.5 °, 10 °, and 12.5 °, which is about 3%-15% better, but at an angle of attack of 2.5 ° without additional winglets has a better value of 5%.
