This study focuses on exploring scenario-based tests during an e-commerce application design and implementation and knowing the user experience profile of local food vendors and buyers in the Berau Regency, East Kalimantan Province as an alternative solution to a 50% decrease in sales that occurred due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this research is to increase the effectiveness of shopping transactions and to apply the design thinking process method in application design to find the optimal user experience. This design uses the design thinking process method. Testing on the design of this application uses a Scenario-Based Test and UEQ to measure the value of user experience and collects some qualitative data in the form of user feedback. The percentage of respondents’ success in doing the seller’s application and the buyer’s application is 70%-71%. In the UEQ test results, the seller’s application obtained an attractiveness value of 2.20 (very good), clarity 1.30 (above average), efficiency 1.80 (good), accuracy 1.35 (above average), stimulation 2.10 (very good), and novelty 2.05 (very good). In the buyer’s application, the value of the attractiveness aspect is 2.23 (very good), clarity 1.30 (above average), efficiency 1.65 (good), accuracy 0.90 (below average), stimulation 2.40 (very good), and novelty 1.80 (very good).
