The paper will deal with the analysis of the results of laboratory measurements on selected windows. These are two different PVC windows and one wooden window that are suitable for low-energy or passive houses. The windows have been installed in the pavilion laboratory of the Department of Building Engineering and Urban planning, Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Žilina (Slovakia), since 2011. In 2020, one of the plastic windows was replaced with an aluminum window and the façade of the pavilion laboratory was reconstructed. During testing, the selected windows are exposed to standard indoor climate conditions and real outdoor climate conditions as recorded by the meteorological station. Surface temperatures at the sashes and glazing and heat flux densities at a five-minute time step were recorded. The paper will present the effect of the restored façade on the monitored windows and the results of the measurements in the form of surface temperatures and heat flux densities.
