This work proposes a cable-driven robot powered by computational Intelligence and built by combining a delta robot with 3 degrees of freedom (DOF) with a cable-based parallel robot with six DOF. It is designed to assist in agricultural operations such as ploughing weeds, spraying pesticides and fertilisers, harvesting fruits and flowers, and individual plant health tracking. Farmbot was the name given to the robot. As a result of its design, the proposed Farmbot is capable of sending data to servers at distant for analysis and storage, being controlled and monitored from afar by a cloud-based application or by a local computer, being automated to perform agricultural tasks, and has access to practically any location of the agricultural field because it is mounted atop a moveable wheeled bot(robocar). The design of Farmbot is centered on caring for every plant individually. An illustration of a design is provided in the form of a three-dimensional model, along with the results of simulations.
