The article deals with the topical issue related to the formation of soft skills of a professional in the context of open education. As a complex modern system of acquiring knowledge in a digital environment, the open education is capable of responding quickly to challenges and is better suited to the objectives of the information society. The article notes that Soft skills perform the function of activating adaptive processes in education, which is a challenge of the present. The results of the Department of Education Management of the Ukrainian Open University on the creation of measuring tools Soft skills by constructing a qualimetric model are revealed. The results of the diagnosis are described and included in the educational programs of training courses.
