Mathematical literacy skills include the abilities needed in mathematics teaching and learning activities. Mathematical literacy is a person’s ability to formulate, apply and interpret mathematics in various contexts, one of which is the ability to reason in mathematical ways, mathematical tools, captions, procedures, and the use of concepts used to predict, describe, describe, and use concepts used to predict, describe, and explain events or reality. One of the factors supporting mathematical literacy ability is the student’s learning style. The purpose of this study is to analyze students’ mathematical literacy abilities in terms of learning styles in the set material. This type of research is a descriptive method using a qualitative approach. The subject of the study was students of class VIIIA and VIIID of SMP Negeri 1 Gondangrejo. The data examination technique of this study is the method of triangulation of methods and triangulation of sources. This is done through a comparison of the results of observations, interviews, and analysis of documents. The use of t instruments is in the form of interview guidelines, learning style questionnaires, and mathematical literacy tests. Data analysis techniques involve data reduction, retrieval, and presentation of conclusions. The results of this study show that students with visual learning styles with mathematical literacy in the formulate category and employ are among students with kinesthetic and auditorial learning styles with mathematical literacy in the formulate category.
