The purpose of the first study is to be able to identify waste management problems in the greater Bandung metropolitan area and the second is to plan a waste management strategy in the greater Bandung metropolitan area based on waste management problems from temporary landfills to landfills. This research uses qualitative analysis methods. Metropolitan Greater Bandung is the largest urban area in West Java Province which consists of the administrative areas of Bandung City, Cimahi City, Bandung Regency, West Bandung Regency, and Sumedang Regency with the largest center of activity and activities located in Bandung City. On the other hand, the problem of waste management is quite serious at this time. This is because waste management facilities such as TPS* and *1TPA in the Bandung metropolitan area are not comparable to the amount of waste production that is increasing every day. Therefore, cooperation between regions is needed in order to overcome the waste problem in metropolitan Bandung. Policies regarding waste management need to be carried out using the Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC) method.
