The research team wants to develop a Novel Microstrip square-shaped antenna that outperforms a Hexagonal patch antenna on FR4 epoxy substrate in the WIMAX frequency range of 7 GHz to 12 GHz. This research compares novel microstrip square and hexagonal patch antennas. There are 20 examples. A unique microstrip square patch antenna (n=10) was compared to a standard hexagonal patch antenna (n=10) for 7 GHz to 12 GHz bandwidth and frequency. A 95 percent confidence interval and 0.05 percent threshold provide an 80 percent G power rating. The square microstrip antenna has a far wider bandwidth than the hexagonal patch antenna. The hexagonal patch antenna has a bandwidth of 7 GHz, 12 GHz greater than the Novel Microstrip square-shaped patch antenna. Wireless communication gains are higher for the Novel Microstrip Square patch antenna than the Hexagonal one.
