In this study, Novel Cat Swarm Optimization will be used to detect tongue-based leukemia in comparison to Discrete Particle Swarm Optimization. To identify the tumor and leukemia tongue picture, novel cat swarm optimization and discrete particle swarm optimization (DPSO) with each 10 sample datasets are implemented. An independent sample T-test was conducted, and the results show that when Cat Swarm Optimization was compared to DPSO for effective tongue-based leukemia detection, p=0.001 was found to be statistically significant. In terms of accuracy numbers, Cat Swarm Optimization 95% performs better than DPSO 93%. When comparing Cat Swarm Optimization and the DPSO for accuracy in tongue-based leukemia detection, Cat Swarm Optimization produced better results.
