Conditional stability of weakly delayed planar linear discrete systems with constant coefficients and a single delay is analyzed where A and B are nonzero 2 × 2 constant matrices and x: −{m, …, ∞} → ℝ2 is an unknown variable. This analysis is based on previously derived formulas describing general solutions of the system for every case of the Jordan form of the matrix A.
