The unsaturated polyester resin (UPE) was used in the recycling cigarette butts (CBs) for the purpose of manufacturing structural sections used in construction and other practical applications at a low cost. In addition, it was used to get rid of the environmental pollution caused by these CBs. The samples were prepared according to the manual casting method and according to the weight fractions (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10). The tests were carried out in order to investigate various mechanical qualities (hardness test and shock test). The mechanical features of CBS fibers improve as the weight ratios of CBS fibers grow, according to the findings of the test.
