Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) High birth rate every year accompanied by child growth disorders. The need for assistive equipment at the age of toddlers is increasing as a growth and development aid (1). Parents take the initiative to use walkers. Baby walker. Baby walker family type 136 used as an exiting design of road aids has a max height of 50 cm. Standard Module of Anthropometry of Children’s Nutrition ri in 2011, the body length of toddlers aged 9-18 months ranges from 67.5-87.7 cm. Baby walkers are supposed to be designed according to the dimensions of toddler growth and development (2). This problem is solved through the redesign of the baby walker to overcome the mismatch of the dimensions of the baby walker and the growth of body length. Value engineering problem solving to evaluate the best value the best value between technical constraints and operational procedures as a performance of design alternatives to cost and effectiveness of usage time (3). Alternative baby walker type 136, baby walker-based thread telescopic bar, baby walker-based push button stem frame and baby walker-based flip lock system. Value calculations compare performance with cost incurred. Baby walker-based thread bar has a value of 3.3726E-07 while baby walker-based push button frame rod has a value of 2.59587E-07. Baby walker-based thread bar has the highest value is the chosen alternative in redesigning baby walkers. Thread bar-based baby walkers can adjust the length of a toddler’s body at 9-18 months of age which ranges from 67.5-87.7 cm.
