UAV is a technology that is widely used in all fields such as civil and military. The UAV is operated by a pilot who must have good cognitive and psychomotor abilities. Errors in flying a UAV can cause huge losses. The phenomenon of the crash of UAVs is mostly caused by inadequate human resources. It is necessary to design an assessment method to determine the readiness of novice pilots so that they become good human resources. The design of this method is based on professional experience and takes into account aspects of expertise and stress experienced by pilots. The assessment method uses the limbo challenge. Stress assessment uses an EEG device and is processed using EEGLAB. The design of the novice pilot readiness assessment method has been tested and is valid for use.
