This research aims to control the school van automatically and to avoid accident using Arduino and ultrasonic sensors. Now a days there is a necessity to ensure the safety and security of the school children. This is because of the occurrence of a greater number of road accidents and kidnapping. It is difficult for the bus drivers to check the presence of all students in the bus. This project recommends a solution in real time which supports the parents to identify their children location. RFID and GSM module helps the parents and school staff to know the boarding time of student (in and out time) in a bus by ending notification. The path can be created through programing with the help of Arduino mega 2560 The van will follow the programed path. To confirm the performance of the proposed method, prototype has been made. The results illustrate that the proposed system can ensure the transportation safety.
