The relevant research on information and communication technology (ICT) use in education is compiled in this study. It examines studies that have addressed the advantages of ICT integration in schools, obstacles or challenges encountered in the use of ICT, factors influencing successful ICT integration, in-service and pre-service teachers’ attitudes, perceptions, and confidence in using ICT, as well as the significance of school culture in the use of ICT. This study presents the demographic statistics of madrasahdiniyah takmiliyah, a community-based non-formal education system, with a focus on teachers and students in Bandung, Indonesia. It also makes recommendations for reviving these institutions’ institutional responsibilities and activities. Gender had a sizable impact on how ICT-ready instructors were in terms of their attitudes, knowledge, and skills. There was no discernible relationship between teachers’ educational backgrounds and support variables and their general ICT preparedness.
