A simulation of percutaneous drug absorption is given using the random walk method. The focus in the simulation is the diffusion process of the drug molecules from vehicle to stratum corneum membrane and then to blood vessels where the drug will be absorbed efficiently into the body. The diffusion process will be modelled as a Brownian random motion, where the diffusivity coefficients depend on the kinetical aspects of the drug molecules inside the vehicle and membrane.
