The purpose of this article was to study the characteristics of CVD (cardiovascular diseases) spread among racehorses, depending on age. An analysis of the dynamics of the development of cardiac disorders was carried out, the ECG parameters were studied, which made it possible to identify the features of the manifestation of CVD in them. It was found that in 2-year-old horses in the first racing season, the incidence was 71.4%; moreover, in 42.8% IHD was recorded, and in 28.6% it was complicated by myocardial dystrophy and incomplete blockade of the right branch of the bundle of His (42.8%). In 3-year-old horses performing in the second racing season, the incidence reached 87.5%: an increase in coronary heart disease up to 87.5%, various types of blockages up to 75% (sinoatrial blockage to 12.5%, incomplete blockage of right bundle branch (BH) to 50%, blockade of the anterior ramus of the left bundle branch to 12.5%), myocardial infarction in the subacute stage (25%) were registered. Consequently, with age, there is an increase in the incidence and severity of pathologies.
