This study aims to obtain an overview of the quality of Islamic boarding school education in the era of revolution 0.4 during the Covid-19 outbreak, which is full of great challenges, which requires leaders, teachers, and education observers to participate in creating change and a new paradigm in the face of globalization. The era of revolution 4.0 in Indonesia is during the COVID-19 outbreak. Currently, the world of education in Islamic boarding schools is one of the sectors that has been heavily affected by the Covid-19 attack, which has reduced the quality of learning in Islamic boarding schools, which is the background of this study describing the form of quality education in Islamic boarding schools in achieving essential educational success in the time of the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a critical analysis method that produces several points, including the importance of the teacher’s role in dealing with education in the 4.0 era, which is all machine and technology—maintaining the role of teachers in facing the challenges of the 4.0 revolution during the covid-19 outbreak and the creation of a new paradigm for teachers in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, describing all events through interviews, observations, and documentation following the instruments and questionnaires given. The findings of this study, where the learning process is carried out using online and offline learning processes that aim to break the chain of the spread of the COVID-19 virus and develop human resources to face the era of globalization. In the 4.0 revolution era, how many information system-based methods are used in the learning process.
