The new admissions system that considers several standards and criteria take a long time to get the right and appropriate admissions decisions. In this study, the authors use the Simple Additive Weighted (SAW) method as a support for new student admission decisions. The SAW method can assist in the ranking process based on the results of the assessment of predetermined criteria. The ranking results can then be used as a basis for determining new student admission decisions. The results showed that V1 obtained the highest weight to be assigned as a new student. The SAW method can be applied to the selection of new admissions because it can provide a convergent solution to an alternative with the highest weight. This can support the results of quick and accurate admissions selection decisions.
