The article examines the effect of cotton on the degree of distribution of cotton in the cross-section of layers depending on the height of the modular area, as the moisture content of the raw material is variable during storage of raw cotton in modular areas. At the same time, additional compaction of cotton under the influence of gravity from the upper layers to the bottom, and micronaire performance of Andijan-35, Sultan, S-6524 cotton fiber had a practical effect on the cross-section of the layers.
