The variants of approach to the anti-surge control valves size selection as applied to a two-section (two-casing) centrifugal compressor unit with three control loops (first section, second section, common loop) are considered. The problems arising when selecting a valve due to incorrect calculation of gas dynamic characteristics of compressor sections are shown. Field of application - field production project site and compression of natural and associated petroleum gas.
