The research aims to reduce environmental pollution by employed natural waste material in fabricated (epoxy/ natural fibers) Composites. The improvement of Epoxy/ sub microns coffee fibers (EP / MCoFs ) and Epoxy/ sub microns cantaloupe fibers (EP / MCaFs ) to prepare natural gelcoats has been done, by adding these plant fibers in different weight ratios ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8%) as reinforcement to epoxy. Wear loss and density of (EP / MCoFs) and (EP / MCaFs); were determined, where the density decreases with increase the weight ratios of fibers. Neat epoxy have high wear Loss (5.73×10−8 gm), this value will reduced to minimum value (1.698×10−8 gm) by adding (7.5% wt.) of coffee fibers or by adding (4% wt.) of cantaloupe fibers. Thermal insulation of epoxy improves by the ratios (23.12%) and (20.56%) with adding coffee and cantaloupe fibers respectively. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of epoxy don’t change much, by adding coffee or cantaloupe fibers, where ( Tg) changed from (60.77 °C) for neat epoxy to (61.58 °C) and (61.77 °C) for (EP / MCoFs) and (EP / MCaFs ) composites respectively. The technique SEM was employed to fix the morphology of (Epoxy/sub microns coffee fibers) and (Epoxy/sub microns cantaloupe fibers) Composites.
