The present investigation exhibits a numerical study on free convection cooling of a heat source embedded on the left side of a square enclosure filled with thermo-dependent fluids. The right wall is maintained at a relatively low temperature, while the rest of the unheated left wall and the horizontal ones are thermally insulated. The governing differential equations are solved numerically using a finite volume method through iterative Semi Implicit Method for Pressure Linked Equation (SIMPLE) algorithm. The main purpose of the present work is to analyze the effect of Rayleigh and Pearson numbers on the fluid structure and temperature patterns, and to subtract the impact of these control parameters on the cooling performance of the enclosure.
