Conventional warehouse management systems, which are based on 2D barcodes, require each unit of goods to be checked. Recording all the items’ information is a time-consuming process; yet some of the agricultural products stored in AgroHUB Banten have a short lifespan and need to be recorded quickly before they are distributed to another area. Therefore, storing the goods for a long time could cause them to spoil. This paper proposes an RFID-based warehouse management system to reduce the time needed to record goods, especially perishable agricultural products. The design of the system includes inbound, outbound, and process management in the warehouse. The system is expected to enhance the working efficiency of the warehouse, reducing operating costs and improving customer satisfaction.
