This article explores the performance of the daily tasks by people in this era, particularly on how they utilize a reminder application to remind them to perform their daily tasks. The main purpose of this study is to propose a location-based reminder application in order to fulfil the wide variety of needs of reminder applications’ users. The article has adopted Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology in the process of application development. A survey has been done to investigate the popularity of reminder applications in the current market. The analysis indicates that most of the people are not familiar with reminder applications but are willing to try out a reminder application with location services, which is the proposed application, the HOLA Application HOLA is a greeting in Spanish use when meeting someone. HOLA Application is focused on the location-based reminder, and thus, the outcome of the application may lack generalizability. However, the functionality of the application will satisfy the needs of most of the general reminder applications’ users.
