This paper presents the scientific basis for assessing the potential of wind energy resources of different heights by statistical processing of wind average speed data measured in the meteostation (size of 10 m). The study was conducted in the Ghijduvan District of the Northern Province of the Bukhara region. An algorithm has been developed to determine the potential of wind energy resources using a two-parameter Weibull probability distribution function. The average speed of the wind at different heights, the Relative Strength of the wind flow, the comparative energy of the wind flow, the gross (theoretical) and technical resource capacities of the wind energy were determined by modeling in the Matlab/Simulink system. According to the results of the scientific research conducted, the average wind speed of the wind blowing in the region of 100 m is determined to be 4.85 m/s, the current flow comparative power is 404.85 W/m2, the wind flows relative energy is 3546.6 kw·h/m2. It is possible to develop social and economic spheres through wind energy in the region.
