Numerical literacy is one of the prerequisites for life skills in the 21st century. The research aims are twofold. 1) Describe the habituation in learning numeracy-oriented mathematics during the pandemic. 2) Analyzing numeracy questions in student practice through Try To Success. This type of research is based on a qualitative ethnographic approach. Data were collected by observing the implementation of learning, documentation of questions in the evaluation of learning, and interviews with school principals, teachers, and fifth-grade students of Muhammadiyah Elementary School Special Program of Surakarta. The validity of the data is done by triangulation of sources and methods as well as an extension of time. The analysis technique is carried out with an interactive flow model. The results of study 1) The habit of learning numeracy-oriented learning was carried out before the learning activities of students reading and practicing questions with parental guidance. When learning, the teacher provides illustrations with real objects, connects the material with everyday problems, and uses acronyms to make it easier for students. After the learning activities, the teacher gives assignments independently and conducts a coaching clinic for students in need. 2) Numerical questions in the Try to Success program in the form aspect of the questions have met the AKM question development indicators, in the context aspect it is dominated by personal context, in the content aspect it is dominated by geometry-measurement, on the cognitive level aspect it meets variations at the level of knowing, applying, and reasoning.
