Millions of children are travelling every day to attend their school through school bus, but the parents of children and school management are not focusing on their safety and security. According to the study, at every 40 seconds, one child goes missing in the world. When children start going to school for the first time and when they are small to understand the situation to act upon it, every parent is concerned about their children’s safety. Looking at children abuse, kidnapping in urban areas, children’s safety has become a major concern for every nation. Parents of children are unaware about the information like children status and location of children, whether their children reach the school or not. We did the last 10-years literature study on RFID-based children safety management systems, and we found that many researchers worked on this problem, and they proposed RFID, GSM, and IoT-based system for children safety management. Using RFID and GSM-based system, it is possible to track the location of the student. This paper presents a detailed review of RFID based children safety management system.
