Ngentaksari has abundant water hyacinth potential and is unutilized. The surface of the lake covered with them can inhibit the entry of sunlight. These leaves contain secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, and tannins which have antibacterial and antioxidant activity. These compounds can replace the triclosan role which has an irritating side effect. Villagers of Ngentaksari have an income below the minimum wage (IDR 2.300.000,00). This empowerment produces hand sanitizer and antiseptic wet wipes as new business opportunities-it is a solution to these problems. The purpose of this activity is to increase the productivity of PKK Ngentaksari by practicing making hand sanitizers and antiseptic wet wipes from water hyacinth extract, and to be able to reduce water hyacinth leaves by processing them into useful products and have a selling value. This empowerment is carried out using a blended method including socialization, training, assistance, monitoring, and evaluation. The results from the activities are 13 PKK members can process water hyacinth into hand sanitizer and antiseptic wet wipes products, PKK members understand how to process the products, able empower 10 other citizens, namely kindergarten teachers to make products independently and sell them to the surrounding community and tourist areas “Daringan Kesongo Culture”. Hand sanitizer gel is sold at IDR 8.000,00 per bottle of 60 mL, hand sanitizer spray of IDR 7.000,00 per bottle of 60 mL, and antiseptic wet wipes of IDR 5.000,00 per package. The results of monitoring and evaluation show the production of products has been disseminated and sold to the public. This empowerment is able to raise the entrepreneurial mindset of PKK Ngentaksari by selling antiseptic products.
