Earthquake and tsunami research around Mount Krakatau is significant because they often occur. The location of Mount Krakatau is on the seabed of southern Lampung and Banten. This research is a qualitative case study that aims to analyze the local government leadership in earthquake and tsunami disaster management around Mount Krakatau. Data search is done by observation, documentation, literature review, and in-depth interviews. In dealing with the earthquake and tsunami around Mount Krakatau, local government leaders need to carry out socialization, coordination, collaboration and communication with the environment. Collaborative cooperation and training between local leaders and community leaders (public figures), and business tourism actors needs to be carried out. The collaborative effort is necessary on an ongoing basis down to the lowest level. A partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing is also essential.
