This study is intended to look at the function of community mosques as an indicator of the survival of a village community due to the threat of land and house acquisition by new city developers in sub-urban areas. The research was conducted by observing activities that involve all elements of the community that use the Al-Muhajirin mosque in Medang Village, Tangerang as the center of activity. The observations were made through open interviews with community leaders and community members as actors in the activity. The results of the study illustrate that religious activities are still ongoing despite changes in the village's spatial and community composition due to the large number of community members who have moved. Various kinds of religious activities that are routinely carried out at the mosque are actually a symbol of the relationship between the residents of the village and residents who have moved to other areas due to the house being purchased by the developer. The occurrence of meetings between the community living in the village and people outside the village on the other hand actually strengthens the community living in the village to survive and will not sell their houses and land to developers. The mechanism of community resilience is achieved through a sense of pride in being a resident of the village who persists and is still able to carry out religious traditions in the mosque
