Holistic learning approach focuses on the intellect, emotions, imagination and body of the learner for more effective and comprehensive learning. This holistic learning takes place in a class room. With the outbreak of ncovid-19 the online education came up as a compulsion. There have been various attempts to scale and evaluate the effects and influence of online education among students, but the effectiveness of online classes on scale of Student Holistic Learning Outcomes(SHLO’s) were paid no attention causing doubt on online classes. This study analyses SHLO’s of online classes in comparison of offline classes. Before academic institutes came with inline class mode, teachers were given proper training on available tools for conducting online classes but the students were shifted to the online mode of classes without any training. On doubting the proper SHLO’s this study was taken to find out the present status of SHLO’s and find out the way out to make up the possible loss of SHLO’s. The study was performed with the students who were new to the institute and had never met their teachers in person. Quantitative analysis method of surveying participating subjects based on a questionnaire was used for the study. The participating students were given 25 questions to be answered in two sessions i.e. pre and during covid-19 situation. The students were given a scale with five points to gauge the level of learning output. It was kept in care that students should be aware of being diagnosed for their learning outcomes. Final Results, analysed through Microsoft excel analysis tool and neural network (MATLAB) indicate that the offline classes had been more persuasive and effective as compared to online classes and thus had better SHLO’s.
