This paper describes the design and operation of the bench developed for testing samples of welded structures for resistance to fatigue fracture. It is shown that parameters such as the maximum fracture load, crack length and geometric dimensions of the sample for the fracture equation must be determined experimentally. The results of studying steel samples to determine fatigue fracture are presented. In the course of experimental studies, it was found that the samples with the maximum hardness have the greatest tendency to established fracture, and an increase in preliminary plastic deformation leads to a significant increase in the ability of the samples to established fracture. Based on the results of testing on the developed stand, it is possible to predict the performance of the investigated products as a whole.
