Pangi (Pangium edule Reinw) fruit is one of the biological ingredients that can be used as a traditional medicine to treat wounds on the outside of the body as a wound medicine and also functions as an anti-cancer. The aims of this study were to extract and fractionate the flesh of Pangi fruit, screen its secondary metabolites, determine the total phenolic content, and determine its antioxidant and antibacterial activity. Pangi flesh samples were extracted with ethanol and then fractionated with several types of solvents. The secondary metabolite compounds were observed by phytochemical screening, the total phenolic was determined by using Folin-ciocalteu, the antioxidant activity was determined by using the DPPH method, and the antibacterial activity was determined by using the disc diffusion method (Kirby-Bauer). Phytochemical screening of Pangi fruit flesh obtained alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, steroids, and triterpenoids. The highest total phenolic content was in ethyl acetate fraction with a value of 31.86 mg/g, followed by ethanol extract with 8.19 mg/g, hexane fraction with 3.61 mg/g, and water fraction is 1.82 mg/g. Meanwhile, the highest antioxidant activity (IC50) was obtained in ethyl acetate fraction with the value of 14.7 mg/mL which is classified as very strong activity, followed by ethanolic extract, hexane fraction, and water fraction, respectively. Furthermore, all extracts showed weak antibacterial activity.
