Many scientists have carried out many types of research on the dangers and impacts of corrosion on the industrial world. Hot-dip galvanising is conducted to minimise steel corrosion rate, which is a dangerous scourge in the industrial world. The main objective of this research is to analyse the effect of the hot-dip galvanising method in zinc with different time variations in seawater on ASTM A36 by measuring the corrosion rate and weight loss of the steel, fracture life and fractography. The results showed that the uncoated steel had the worst corrosion resistance, with an average corrosion rate of 17.234 mpy and the highest fatigue cycle 1.87x106. The best corrosion resistance characteristic is immersion in zinc for 2 minutes with an average corrosion rate of 2.334 mpy and the highest fatigue cycle of 3.121x106.
